The CERN Alumni Network welcomes all former members of the personnel who left the Organization in good standing. 

Members of the personnel (MP) shall comprise employed members of the personnel (MPE) and associated members of the personnel (MPA):

1. The categories of employed members of the personnel shall be:
   1. i) staff members (Staff);
   2. ii) fellows/ graduates (Fellows, Graduates)
2. The categories of associated members of the personnel shall be:
   1. i) Associates for the purpose of international collaboration (Users, Cooperation associates, Project associates);
   2. ii) Associates for the purpose of exchange of scientists (Scientific associates, Corresponding associates, Visiting Scientists and Guest professors);
   3. iii) Associates for the purpose of training (Students, Trainees, Apprentices)
